Don’t Wait For The Worst To Happen

Life happens. Sometimes it’s good. Quite often it’s bad.

The thing is, don’t wait for the bad stuff to happen to then sort out your finances. I’ve faced redundancy. It’s not a fun thing to do. My extended family have suffered loss, like everyone. Getting your funds in order and living within your means before the big life changing event happens, helps.

If you lost your job how would you put food on the table?

If you hurt yourself how would you run your business?

If you passed away how would you family cope financially?

I read about a Thomas Cook pilot who reduced his monthly outgoings by £200 after being made redundant when the firm recently collapsed.

Why not do that before the thing happens that makes you need to save money? Start saving right now! Cancel the gym membership and run around the block. Reduce your utility bills by shopping around. Cancel those subscriptions you don’t use.
